Playstan (“Playstan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website playstan.co (the “Site”) and sells children’s toys to customers in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or shop on the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

  • Payment-related information: because Playstan currently accepts Cash on Delivery (COD) or bank transfers only, we do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. If online card payment methods are introduced in future, this Policy will be updated accordingly and payment processing will be handled by a PCI-DSS-compliant third-party gateway.
  • Cookies and technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and session activity, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
  • Communications: messages you send us via email, WhatsApp, contact forms, or social media, including any information you choose to share in those messages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, confirm, and deliver your orders, including sharing your name, phone number, and address with our courier partners for COD delivery;
  • Communicate with you about your order status, delivery updates, and customer service requests;
  • Send you marketing emails or promotional updates about new products or offers, where you have not opted out;
  • Improve the Site’s content, layout, and product range based on browsing and purchase patterns;
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent orders, abuse of our COD system, or other misuse of the Site;
  • Comply with applicable Pakistani law, including tax and consumer-protection recordkeeping obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only with:

  • Courier and logistics companies, to enable delivery of your order and collection of COD payment;
  • Service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., website hosting, email delivery, analytics), who are only permitted to use your data to provide services to us;
  • Government or regulatory authorities, where required by Pakistani law, a valid court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Playstan, our customers, or the public.

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Keep items in your shopping cart between visits;

  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it (analytics);

Playstan is not responsible for the privacy or data-handling practices of third-party platforms outside our control.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan and the Province of Sindh. We process personal information in accordance with applicable Pakistani law and applicable regulatory requirements.
